2014 Trilogy Fine Arts Competition
On March 25, 2014, prizes were awarded to three Washington County high school students in the 2014 Trilogy Fine Arts Competition, the second such event sponsored by Trilogy Professional Group, LLC.
Over 80 Washington County public high school students competed in the event. The entries, all depicting the theme “Celebrate Washington County,” were judged by Rebecca Massie-Lane, Director of the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts; Bill Davis, a local artist and art teacher based in Smithsburg; and Michael Gouker, a retired Washington County public schools art teacher.
12 finalists were selected, and their pieces are on display in the lobby of the Trilogy Professional Center, 1165 Imperial Drive, off Eastern Boulevard. The exhibit is open to the public Monday through Friday, 8am until 5pm.
The Trilogy Fine Arts Competition was born of a desire by the three partners of Capital Women’s Care – Dr. Andrew Oh, Dr. Mitesh Kothari, and Dr. David Solberg – to give back to a community that has so generously supported them throughout their personal and professional lives here in Washington County.
All of the partners plan to continue this annual event, hoping to inspire young artists, while supporting the schools and art programs of Washington County.
